Welcome to Strathaven It's hard to miss the bright blue shutters as you arrive on NH Rte 113. There is plenty of guest parking with pull-through available for vehicles with trailers.

Welcome To Our Home Enter our inn through the three seasons porch area. You'll often find guests relaxing here and enjoying the sounds of New Hampshire.
The Heart of Strathaven We like to think of our kitchen as the heart of Strathaven. This is where we make new acquaintances and say goodbye to new friends.
Your Breakfast Is Served The harvest table seats up to 14 hungry guests for hearty breakfasts. Be sure to note the unusual sideboard cabinet, carved by Betsy's father, Ted English. Betsy's grandfather, Fred Quimby, did many of the oil paintings found throughout the home. Most of the water colors are Ted's work.
On Fine China Most guests are enthralled by Betsy's collection of early Meissen china which is displayed in the dining room. Ask her to tell the story about the initial acquisition!
Relax and Enjoy Guests enjoy the common room area. You can just relax and enjoy watching the bird feeders and the view of the pond and Whiteface. There are books, tv and video, board games and puzzles. There is even a piano and plenty of sheet music. Often guests will begin an impromptu singalong.
Our Comfortable Guest Rooms There are two guest rooms on the main floor. Each has two double beds and private bath. The Gold Room looks out on the croquet court and orchard. The Blue Room has a view of the pond.
Lovely Antiques and Paintings The guest rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and paintings by Ted English and Fred Quimby, Betsy's father and grandfather.
Enjoy the Outside from Inside We love the solar room on winter days! This is the most popular room for stitching during the popular crewel embroidery camps.
Upstairs Guest Rooms There are two guest rooms in the old Victorian section of our home. This is the Quimby room, decorated with antiques from the Quimby family. Note the oil painting of Betsy's mother, Lucille Quimby. This is actually a study done by Fred Quimby. On the reverse of the canvas is a sketch of Betsy's brother in military attire. Also displayed here are many antique sewing boxes from all over the world.
The Victorian Guest Room This cozy room displays a collection of English cottages and features diamond pane windows.
Shared Bathroom The upstairs guest rooms share a bathroom with the innkeepers. And what a bathroom!
Share Our Home We hope to meet you and perhaps spend some time sitting in deck chairs on the lawn. We'll share a cold beverage and get to know you better.
